Vostellung und gleich eine Frage !

  • Hallo !

  • I'll try.

    AC#1,N29656,28%,8Hr,IFR,00:40:40,02:31:18,120,F,6073,VYMD,04:40:36,06:31:14,110,F,6072,VTCP

AC#1 is the first listed reference aircraft in the aircraft.txt. There can be multiple listed and it really can be any reference number.

N29656 is the aircraft tail number

28% is at which point the AI slider will show this traffic. In this example it would need to be at or above 28% to show.

IFR means an IFR clearance will be obtained. You can also use VFR

8Hr means this traffic will spawn or load every 8 hours. You can have 4hrs, 8hrs, 24hrs.. maybe a few in the middle but you get the idea.

But you can also have Week. With Week, you will have to code the next section differently and I will explain that down below later.

00:40:40 is the departure time and 02:31:18 is the arrival time. All times are in Zulu or GMT.

120 is the flight level or 12,000 feet. 060 would be 6000 and 350 would be 35,000 feet. etc

F is reference for FIGHT number which is the next number 6073. A R would be used if you wanted to use the aircraft registration number as the call sign

and then the flight number is ignored.

    VYMD is the arrival airport.

So in this plan.. this plane will leave from VTCP at 00:40:40 and depart to VYMD @ 12,000 feet and then return to VTCP at 11,000 feet in the GMT time listed. This occurrence

will happen every 8 hours repeating.

If you had a WEEK plan like I mentioned above.. The plan above would look a bit different as you need to assign days of the week now. 0 being Sunday 1 Mon 2 Tues.....6 being Sat

So the plan above could be modified to look like this..

    AC#1,N29656,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/00:40:40,0/02:31:18,120,F,6073,VYMD,2/04:40:36,2/06:31:14,110,F,6072,VTCP

So in this example the plane would leave only on Sunday and sit until Tuesday at VYMD and then leave tues back to VTCP and sit the rest of the week there until Sun again.

You can add more legs per day and more for each week and there is a limit but its really high and I doubt you need to worry about that.

    Hope this sheds some light.

There are some great easy flight planning tools that can take all the manual work out of this but I am not sure your goal so I'll just stick to the question you asked.
